Obituary for Marie T. Kimpton
Funeral Mass for Marie T. (nee Horan) Kimpton, 91, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Timothy Kalista will officiate.
Mrs. Kimpton passed away Saturday, May 12, 2018, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born May 14, 1926, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 61 years.
Marie was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Willoughby. Her family was her top priority, loved decorating for the holidays and enjoyed shopping.
She was the beloved wife of 72 years to Ralph E. Kimpton; loving mother of Michael A. (Beverly) Kimpton, Kathleen M. Doles and Deborah A. (Tom) George; cherished grandmother of Michael (Kari) Kimpton, Julie (Phil) Andre, Heather Kinney, Kevin Doles, Brandon (Trisha) Doles, Brian (Rebecca) Doles, Christopher (Michelle) George, Todd George and Laurie (Patrick) Cantlin; and great-grandmother of Dan, Andrew, Sam, Sabrina, Breanna, Connor, Bridget, Hailey, Beckett, Morgan and Hallie.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Emily (nee McGraw) Horan.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
The family suggests contributions in her name be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110 or Immaculate Conception Church Parish Endowment Fund, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, OH 44094.
