Memorial Mass for Marion C. DiMarco, 86, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mrs. DiMarco passed away Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Sept. 3, 1932, in New York, N.Y., she had lived in Florida and Connecticut before moving to Lake County three years ago, living in Mentor before moving to Willoughby.
She was a member of the Red Hatters, Italian American Club (Tampa area), and St. Noel Catholic Church. Marion was a graduate of F.I.T. (Fashion Institute of Technology), in Manhattan, N.Y., and had worked as an interior designer.
She was the loving mother of Michael A. (Janine) DiMarco and Madelyn A. (David) Zarlenga; mother-in-law of Virginia DiMarco; cherished grandmother of Robert DiMarco, Andrew Olley, Jeffrey Olley, Joseph DiMarco, Mia Olley and Thomas DiMarco; sister of Sally Miller, Rosemary Macchia, Bernard (Patricia) Foresta, Michael (Lorraine) Foresta, and Joseph (Carlene) Foresta; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Marion was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph B. DiMarco in 2016; son, Frank M. DiMarco; parents, Michael and Domenica (nee Castrogiovanni) Foresta; siblings, Frances Giambona and Thomas Foresta; sister-in-law, Mary Margaret Foresta; and brother-in-law, Ralph Macchia.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. Tueday, Nov. 27, until the time of the Mass at the church.
