Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Janet Davenport can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence From: Jan Davenport
Condolence: On my wedding day, she asked me to call her "Mom".

For the next 4 decades she was just that - a treasured and loved Honorary Mom and Honorary Grandma to Jesse, too! We always knew she was there, cheering us on and loving us.

We had such a fun, fiesty relationship! My favorite memory is of our Saturday Brunches - held to celebrate all kinds of things. (Happy Birthday! Happy Spring! Happy college graduation!) And of her grins when she saw her standby order, a huge waffle, arrive - with whipped cream and strawberries - and of course, bacon (must be crispy!).

Our only rule, made early on, was: talk about anything but politics! We followed it to the T - and therefore remained best of friends 'til the end :).....

Thank you with all my heart to Heath and the whole Davenport family, for the gift of Janet's presence in my life!

Bless you and thank you, Mom!
Rest In Peace, til we meet again.
