Obituary for Geraldine R Branstein

Celebration of Life services for Geraldine R. (nee Opatrny) Branstein, 86, of Willowick, will be 4 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north or Route 2), Mentor.
Mrs. Branstein passed away Saturday, April 8, 2017, at Mentor Woods Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Mentor.
Born Oct. 8, 1930, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for 56 years, living in Wickliffe before moving to Willowick.
She was a former member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wickliffe and enjoyed playing bingo.
She was the loving mother of Gary C. (Sue Ann) Branstein, Diane L. Branstein, Alan R. Branstein, and Gail Ann (Donald) Martinez; cherished grandmother of James (Barbara), Sandra (Bret), Michael (Abigail), Nicholas (Jennifer), Bryan, Joseph, Kimberlee, Danielle (Cameron), David (Eileen), Julie, Tommy, Nathan, Rachel and Vincent; great-grandmother of Jessica, Katie, Michael, Charles, Wesley, Alex, Jeff, Violet, Jaxon and Audrey; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Julia (nee Cegulski) Opatrny; and siblings, Norbert Opatrny and Edwin (Anna) Opatrny.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
