Obituary for Timothy C Tincher
A Celebration of Life Mass for Timothy C. Tincher, age 67, will be 10 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor. The Rev. Thomas Elsasser will officiate.
Mr. Tincher passed away April 3, 2017, at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center after a brief illness.
Tim was born April 28, 1949, in Toledo, where he lived until moving to Worthington in 1989.
After retiring from OhioHealth in 2011, he moved to Concord Township to be close to his three grandsons.
Tim is survived by his wife, Colleen (nee Gase); stepsons, Robert (Tricia) Gardner, and James Gardner Jr.; grandsons, Riley, Brodie and Chase Gardner; and brother, Mark (Sheila) Tincher.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Eleanor (nee Kubacki) Tincher.
Tim led a simple life and enjoyed playing golf, watching hockey, reading, drinking a good Manhattan and, most of all, spending time with his grandsons.
Tim had a strong passion to give back to his high school scholarship fund so other boys would be able to share in an excellent education as he did.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis De Sales School Scholarship Fund, 2323 West Bancroft St., Toledo, OH 43607-1399.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
