Obituary for Margaret A Burke

Margaret A. (nee Callahan) Burke, 84, of Mentor, passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Born Sept. 23, 1932, in Cincinnati, she had been a resident for 67 years.
Margaret was an active boater and loved boating very much. She was a member of the Lake County Yacht Club, Mentor Yacht Club and Fairport Harbor Yacht Club, loved traveling with her friends and family, enjoyed her Friday nights out with the girls, but most of all she relished the time she spent with her family.
She was the loving mother of Craig Kinkopf, Michael Burke, Gail (Bill) Anoka, Bonnie Burke-Weber, Wayne Kinkopf, and Wendy Kinkopf (fiancé, John Slapnicker); cherished grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother of many beautiful children; sister of Maureen (Marcus) Hilton and Jim (Bonnie) Callahan; sister-in-law of Lynn Buente, Shirley Callahan, Jack Burke and Rick Burke (John White); and aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Margaret was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George W. “Bill” Burke Jr.; parents, John C. and Anna (nee Hagen) Callahan; siblings, Bob Buente, Jack Callahan, Walter Buente, George Callahan and Mary Carole Kennedy; and sisters-in-law, Ninette Callahan and June Buente.
Burial will be private.
