Funeral Mass for Frances A. Coberly, 74, of Eastlake, will be 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Mary’s Church, 15519 Holmes Ave., Cleveland. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at church.)
Mrs. Coberly passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Dec. 31, 1942, in Cleveland, she had been a Lake County resident for the past 30 years.
Frances was a research librarian of Slovenian Genealogy Society International, was a board member of Slovenska Pristava, member of the Slovenian Home Pensioners, and was very devoted to her Slovenian heritage. “Thank you to the Slovenian Community, you made her life complete.” She was also a member of Palmer-Roberts American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 214 in Willoughby.
Frances was the beloved wife of 30 years to Phillip L. Coberly; stepmother of Phillip Damon Coberly (Elizabeth Griffin); and cousin of Bonnie Licht and Marlene DePledge.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Devlin.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, where Palmer-Roberts American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 214 will conduct a service at 5 p.m. Sunday.
