Obituary for Mary A Rosa
Funeral services for Mary A. (nee DePaul) Rosa, 91, of Euclid, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Fr. Tom Johns will officiate.
Mrs. Rosa passed away Saturday, May 6, 2017, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland with her loving family at her side.
Born Feb. 20, 1926, at Cleveland, she had been a resident of Euclid for the past 50 years.
Family was very important to Mary. She truly loved her family and enjoyed shopping, cooking, and especially making her sauce every Sunday for the family.
Mrs. Rosa had worked at the voting booths in Euclid.
She was the loving mother of Dennis J. (Carol) Rosa and Debbie L. (Timothy) Morgan; cherished grandmother of Tina, Ashley, Brian, Abbie and Allison; great-grandmother of Kalysta; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph D. Rosa in 2006; parents, Antonnio and Elvira (nee Spagnoli) DePaul; and siblings, Sophie Ferrato, Helen Waterwash, Elsie Duffey and Angelina Franks.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Hospice of the Western Reserve for the care and compassion shown to Mary and her family during this difficult time.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in her name be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
