Obituary for Maria Margarete Lottes
Maria Margarete Lottes (nee Kuespert), age 85, died peacefully in her home May 11, 2017, with her family by her side. She was born Aug. 31, 1931, in Wunsiedel, Germany, immigrated to America in 1952, and became a U.S. citizen May 9, 1958. Beloved wife for 61 years to the late Alfred; loving mother of Chris (dec.) and Allen (wife, Lisa); devoted grandmother of Christopher Lottes and Sarah (Javier) Pena; great-grandmother of Adaline; dearest friend and confidant of Sherrie Morkunas; daughter of the late Christoph and Anna; sister of the late Annie and Betty; and a beloved aunt, great-aunt and friend to many. Visitation begins 11 AM followed by a 12 Noon funeral Mass Thursday, May 18, 2017, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd., Mentor, OH 44060. Interment at Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Twp. Arrangements entrusted McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes, Willoughby and Mentor.
