Obituary for John L. Fiorilli

Funeral Services for John L. Fiorilli, 84, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St., (Route 615, north of Route 2) Mentor.
Mr. Fiorilli passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2017 with his family at his side at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born July 19, 1932 in Cleveland, he had lived in Euclid before moving to Lake County three years ago.
John was a member of St. John of the Cross/St. Felicitas in Euclid and attended St. Bede the Venerable Church; played the accordion, enjoyed carpentry and working with his hands and building things. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.
He had retired from Service Stamping in Willoughby after 40 years of service.
John was the beloved husband of 63 years to Kathryne L. (nee Jolley) Fiorilli; loving father of Michael Anthony (Laura Jo) Fiorilli and Patrick John (Cathy) Fiorilli; cherished grandfather of Jennifer Fiorilli and Marissa Fiorilli, Jessica (Andy) Sherman and Olivia Fiorilli; great grandfather of Leonardo and Colton Sherman; brother of Nancy Coraretti; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Doletta (nee Fruschella) Fiorilli; siblings, Nick (Grace) Fiorilli, Marie (Dom) DiFranco, Dominic (Liz) Fiorilli, Clara (Louis) Cioffi and Tony Fiorilli; and brother-in-law, Blase Coraretti.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
The family suggests contributions in his name to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland 44110.
