Richard L "Dick"  Henson Sr.
Graveside services for Richard L. “Dick” Henson Sr., 86, of Painesville, will be 2 p.m. Monday at Perry Cemetery, 3840 Middle Ridge Road, Perry. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at the cemetery.)
Mr. Henson passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at his residence.
Born July 3, 1930, in Minford, he had been a resident of Lake County for 17 years.
Dick enjoyed bowling, camping and farming. He was also a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
Dick was the dear companion of Beverly Sapatka; loving father of Darlene K. (Joe) Howser and Donald W. (Kathy) Henson; father-in-law of Kate Henson; cherished grandfather of Colleen, Sean, Joanne, Matthew and Jennifer; great-grandfather of Paul, Shea, Arya, Jackson, Royal and Lilianna; brother of Jim Henson and Tim Henson; and uncle of many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his son, Richard L. Henson Jr.; parents, Carroll and Katherine (nee Bowden) Henson; and brothers, Jack, Tom and John Henson.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
