Obituary for Edward Eugene Manning

Celebration of Life services for Edward E. Manning, 87, of Concord Township, will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
Mr. Manning passed away Friday, July 14, 2017, at Kemper House in Highland Heights.
Born Jan. 21, 1930, in Cleveland, he had lived in Chardon before moving to Lake County more than 20 years ago.
He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, enjoyed square dancing, and loved to travel and socialize with family and friends.
Edward was the beloved husband of 64 years to Peggy J. (nee Simpson) Manning; loving father of Lee (Candice) Manning Schoeppler and Shelley C. (Robert) O’Callahan; cherished grandfather of Rachel, Kelly, Erin, Marissa, Deanna, Kelsey and Josephine; great-grandfather of Lilah, Gracie and Shepard; and uncle of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Jane (nee Sadowski) Manning; sibling, Kasey (Tina, dec.) Majewski.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at The Abbey of Willoughby. Burial will be private.
