Obituary for Suzanne T Ryan
Funeral Mass for Suzanne T. (nee Tracy) Ryan, 83, of Madison, will be 9:30 a.m. Friday, Aug. 11, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mrs. Ryan passed away Monday, July 24, 2017, at Heartland of Mentor.
Born June 28, 1934, in Milwaukee, Wisc., she had lived in Carmel, Ind., for 23 years before moving to Madison.
Suzanne was an avid homemaker and loved to cook, knit and read. She also played golf in the Mohawk Hills Ladies Golf League in Carmel, Ind. Her two dogs, Tori and Courtney were also very important to her.
Mrs. Ryan was a former President of the Hamilton County Mental Health Associate Gold Ladies and had worked in retail in both sales and as a buyer.
She was the loving mother of Catherine R. Whitely and Tracy R. McGranahan; and cherished grandmother of Joseph Michael Yager.
Suzanne was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William J. Ryan in 2003; son-in-law Kevin Whitely; parents, George A. and Harriet R. (nee Bock) Tracy; and brother, Peter E. Tracy.
Family will receive friends from 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass Friday, Aug. 11, at the church.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
