Funeral services for Jackie Lee Bailey, 80, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Grace Church of Mentor, 6883 Reynolds Road, Mentor, OH 44060.
Mr. Bailey passed away July 29, 2017, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born June 18, 1937, in Laredo, W.Va., he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 40 years.
Jack was a longtime former member of Cedar Hill Baptist Church in Cleveland Heights and was currently a member of Grace Church of Mentor.
Mr. Bailey had owned and operated multiple service stations in the area including Jack’s Union 76 Station (on Center St. in Mentor), and Jack’s Marathon Station (at Liberty & Rt. 84 in Painesville). He was also the co-founder of Mentor Towing.
Jack was the beloved husband of Glenna Gaye (nee Thomason) Bailey; loving father of Teresa Geracie of Plymouth, Mass., Steven (Nyleen) Bailey of Ravenna, Leah (Gregory) Paugh of Painesville, and John Mark (Crystal) Bailey of Eastlake; son-in-law of Elsie Frost of Fishersville, Va.; cherished grandfather of Jacob, Brittney, Stephen, Alexa, Caleb, Drew, Ronan, Dakota, Daelyn, Isabella, Alexandra and Victoria; and great-grandfather of Dylan.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Grace Church of Mentor.
