Ronald  James  Sapatka Jr.
Ronald James Sapatka Jr., 58, of Euclid, passed away Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at his residence.
Born March 11, 1959, in East Cleveland, he had been a lifetime resident of Euclid.
Ron was a 1977 graduate of Euclid High School. He was a kind soul. His hobbies included Major League Baseball, especially the Cleveland Indians. He also enjoyed vacations, loved music, visiting Cancun, camping, the outdoors and butterflies. His favorite sports teams were the Dallas Cowboys and Boston Celtics.
Ron was the loving father of Nicholas J. Sapatka (fiancée, Lindsay McGill), and Sarah Rose (fiance, Nick Fuller) Sapatka; brother of Sharon (Joseph) Semick, Carole A. (Daniel) Doyle, and Robert (Sandy) Sapatka; and uncle of Douglas and Danielle Semick and Heather, Benjamin and Zachary Sapatka.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald James Sr. and Beverly A. (nee Poore) Sapatka; and brother, Thomas Sapatka.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a celebration of life to be held at 1 p.m.. Burial will be private.
