Obituary for John Robert Remsey
Funeral Mass for John Robert Remsey, 97, of Willoughby, will be 11 a.m Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
John passed away Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017 at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Hts.
He was born July 27, 1920 in Akron.
He was the owner/operator of Master Works TV Repair in Cleveland.
John was a veteran of the U. S. Navy, serving during World War II, a former parishioner of St. Noel Church in Willoughby Hills and enjoyed fishing, woodworking and gardening.
He was the loving husband of 54 years of Mary (nee D’Amico) Remsey; uncle of 16 nieces and nephews; and many great and great-great-nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Ann (nee Danko) Remsey; and brother of the following deceased, Joseph (Margaret) Remsey, Margaret (John) Law; Elsie (John) Green, Jerome (Earlene) Remsey, toddler William Remsey, and V. Kenneth (Ruth) Remsey.
Family will receive friends 9 to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights.
