Obituary for Kenneth Roy Olsen

Kenneth R. Olsen, 75, of Willoughby passed away Tuesday, Oct. 3, 2017.
Born Feb. 7, 1942, in Cleveland, he had lived in Cleveland and Mayfield before moving to Lake County 42 years ago, living in Willoughby.
Ken was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, and a member of the Fairport Harbor Yacht Club, Lakeshore Live Steamers and the National Model Railroaders Association Division 5. He enjoyed sailing, model railroading and was an avid golfer.
He was the beloved husband of Barbara M. (nee Bruszkowski) Olsen; loving father of Kimberly (David) Gutfranski of Broadview Heights and Karen Farrow of Madison; cherished grandfather of Nicholas, Hailey and Lily; brother-in-law of Elaine (Ronald) Swiatek; uncle of Scott and Amanda Swiatek; and cousin of Michael (Kristy) Dobida.
Ken was preceded in death by his parents, Roy L. and Mary J. (nee Dobida) Olsen; and brother, Roger Olsen.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 8, 2017, at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
