Josephine (nee Preskar) Zawacki, 93, of Eastlake, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 4, 2017, at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.
She was born July 31, 1924, in Euclid.
Josephine loved polkas and enjoyed dancing.
She was the loving mother of Alan J. Mocarski, Denise Kurth, Michelle M. (Jack) Curtner and Dave (Lisa) Mansour; cherished grandmother of Bobbie Hambrick, Jason Curtner, Shaun Kurth, Krista (Gregory) Williams, Alicia Rose Mansour, Kyle Curtner and Max Mansour; great-grandmother of Briana Wynee, Matisse McLean, Marcus McLean, Nya Kurth, MacKenzie Kurth, Sophia Williams and Gabriella Williams; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Skebe) Preskar; siblings Rose Yurglic, Frances Anderson, Joseph Preskar, Anna Strukel and Angela Preskar; and son-in-law, Richard Kurth.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. A Celebration of Life will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
