Richard H. Dodd Jr., 62, of Wickliffe, passed away Oct. 7, 2017, at his residence.
Born July 16, 1955, in Painesville, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County, living in Mentor before moving to Wickliffe.
Rich had worked at Giant Eagle in Willoughby for 17 years prior to his retirement. He loved Cleveland sports teams, especially the Cleveland Indians.
He was the father of Kelly S. (Todd) Ungar and Andrew J. (Emily) Dodd; grandfather of Bill, Michael, Natalie, Lucy, Sylvie and Simon; son of Margaret (nee Edwards) Dodd; brother of Donna M. (Richard) Wagner; and the nephew, cousin, uncle and friend of many.
Rich was preceded in death by his infant son, Richard H. Dodd III; and father, Richard H. Dodd Sr.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby. (Casual attire is requested.) Burial will be private.
