Obituary for Eva Florence Miller

Celebration of Life service for Eva Florence Miller (nee Rudy), 76, of Willoughby Hills will be 4:30 p.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Pastor Mike Currier will officiate.
Eva passed away Sunday, Nov. 12, 2017 at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Oct. 14, 1941 in Lima, she had been a Lake County resident for 10 years.
Eva worked for many years as a loyal and dependable employee in various capacities, but found her position as a personal home health aide the most rewarding. Eva loved spending time with her family on holidays and special birthday celebrations, especially taking time to choose just the right card for her loved one. She was a very loving sister and aunt. She really looked forward to visits with her great nephew Alek. She loved playing bingo on Saturdays with her Mary Rose estates friends and bringing snacks for everyone to enjoy. She loved to go shopping on the bus and always had a "list", she never went to the stores without one. Anyone who knew her knew that the love of her life was her cat "baby" Sophie, who gave her many years of happiness and joy. Eva will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Eva was the loving sister of Evelyn F. (Dan) Kline; cherished aunt of Belinda, Barb, Sara (Mike) and Lauren; great aunt of Alek; and aunt of other nieces and nephews. She also leaves her dear friend, Hollie L. Jacovetty.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Owen M. Miller; parents, Orville Rudy and Frances Josephine (John) Myernak; brother, Orville “Butch” Rudy; sisters, Carol Mahas and Joanne Calla.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery at a later date.
