Craig A. "Papadrums"  Price
Celebration of Life Service for Craig A. “Papadrums” Price, 59, of Painesville, will be 7 p.m. Monday at New Promise Church, 8671 Euclid-Chardon Rd, Kirtland.
Craig passed away Friday, Nov. 17, 2017 at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland after a long battle with ALS.
Born May 17, 1958 in Cleveland, he had been a Lake County resident living in Mentor and Perry before moving to Painesville.
He was a member and drummer at New Promise Church, Lifeline Church in Madison and Lighthouse Church in Leroy Township. He played drums in the past for Three in One, Bethlehem Pops and U-41, and loved riding his motorcycle and being with his grandchildren and children.
Craig was the beloved husband of 38 years to Donna J. (nee McElwee) Price; loving father of Brittany J. (Stephen) Popovich, Alan H. (Monica) Price, Evan D. Price and Faren L. (Cody) Smith; cherished grandfather of Tanner, Stephen, Ryman, Persephone, Ronon, Mya, Brody, Chloe, Ella, Aiden, Gracie, Presley and Beckett; brother of Martha (Charles) Griffin, Robert Price, Jeffery (Susan) Price, Ivan “Howie” (Terry) Price and Mary (David) Kell; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard G. and Betty V. (nee Davis) Price.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday and 10 to 11 a.m. with 11 a.m. prayers Tuesday at New Promise Church. Burial will be at Knollwood Cemetery.
