Private family services were held for Carol L. (nee Novinc) Hoberg, 81, of Wickliffe.
Mrs. Hoberg passed away Monday, Nov. 20, 2017, at Heartland of Willoughby.
Born March 20, 1936, she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 61 years.
Carol was a member of Willoughby Eagles Aerie 2300. She was also the owner and operator of Seaway Lanes Lounge in Wickliffe with her late husband, Dale for many years.
She was the loving mother of Dale C. (Lisa) Hoberg and Denise M. (Chuck) Walker; cherished grandmother “Boom” of Linda (Dan) Miller, Matthew (Lyndsey) Formica, Julie Formica (Morgan Formica), Bradley Hoberg, Kevin Hoberg, Michael Hoberg and Tyler Hoberg; great-grandmother of Arianna, Gionni and Dominic; aunt of nieces and nephews; and longtime friend of Cheech Wallace.
Carol was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles “Dale” Hoberg in 2004; son, Keith A Hoberg; parents, Rudolph and Carolyn (nee Breskvar) Novinc; and sister, Shirley DiLoreto.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to Heartland Hospice, 4807 Rockside Rd., Suite 110, Independence, OH 44131.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
