Jeffrey C  Peters
Jeffrey C. Peters, 74, of Mentor, died Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017, at Mapleview Country Villa in Chardon.
He was born Aug. 1, 1943, in Cleveland.
Jeffrey was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a sales manager in the medical field.
Mr. Peters was an active member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church, V.F.W., American Legion, Knights of Columbus, Mentor Senior Center and the Master Investors Club. He was an avid golfer, bowler and fisherman. Jeffrey loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife of 21 years, MaryLou Y. Peters; children, Pamela (Daniel) Jacobs, Vicky Barski and Diana (David) Kopp; brother, Richard Peters (Sherry Clifton); grandchildren, Mallory Jacobs, Jack Jacobs, Courtney Salopeck, Mitchell, Salopeck, Damian Kopp and Dominic Kopp; great-grandchildren, Carter and Haden; and beloved cat, Casey. Additional family members include Maryanne (Seth) Roden, Kathleen (Brian) Milliken, Jeffery W. Peters; grandchildren, Sophie, Max, Grace and Jordan; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles F. and Marion Peters; and brother, Thomas Peters and Rose Ann Peters.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Funeral Mass will be 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. Fr. Tom Johns will officiate. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
