Salvatore J. Carotenuto, 90, of Madison, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2018, at LakeMed Nursing Facility in Painesville.
He was born March 29, 1927, in New Haven, Conn.
Mr. Carotenuto worked as a superintendent for the City of East Cleveland.
Salvatore was the beloved husband of the late Marilyn Theresa (nee Mancini) Carotenuto; loving father of David F. (Linda), and Donald J. (Ruth); grandfather of four; and great-grandfather of three.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Friday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, with a prayer service at 4 p.m.
