Funeral Mass for Donna Rae (nee Roberts) Melnick, 74, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Friday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at church.)
Mrs. Melnick passed away Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2018, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born March 15, 1943, in Niagara Falls, N.Y., she had been a resident of Lake County for the past 48 years, living in Willoughby and Painesville before moving to Mentor.
Donna worked for the Lake County Public Defender’s Office for 30 years, prior to her retirement.
She was the loving mother of Rick T. (Jennifer) Melnick, Peggy L. Melnick and Pamela D. Melnick; cherished grandmother of Theo, Lorien, Liesl, Eli and Luke; sister-in-law of Carole Roberts; and aunt of George (Eliamar) Roberts.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Dorothy (nee Jones) Roberts; and brother, George Roberts.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
