Mary  Iacofano
Private family services were held for Mary Iacofano, 95, of Euclid.
Mrs. Iacofano passed away Feb. 9, 2018, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Mary was born Oct. 23, 1922, in Cleveland and had lived in Euclid for the past 69 years.
She grew up in the Little Italy area of Cleveland. Mary enjoyed working the lottery at the family business, Willo Plaza Beverage. The family remembers her quick wit at family gatherings.
Survivors are her children, John Iacofano of Euclid, Tony (Gayle) Iacofano of Willoughby Hills and Art (Cheryl) Iacofano of Concord Township; her grandchildren who knew her as “Mama,” Michael and John Iacofano of California, Chris (Evelyn) Iacofano of Oregon, Kim (Aaron) Wilhelm of Wickliffe, Mark (Angel) Iacofano of Concord Township, Greg (Amy) Iacofano of Girard, Kevin (Anna) Iacofano of Cincinnati and Ashley (Michael) Georger of Painesville Township; sister, Angie Carrigo of Arizona; and great-grandchildren, Josh, Marlese, Sydney, Ruby Jean, Jude, Alyssa, Olivia, Amelia, Alaina, Nicholas, Ava and Emma. Mary loved her family and cherished the time she was able to spend with them. She enjoyed making Sunday pasta for any family member that came to visit.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Iacofano Sr.; parents, Domenic and Christina (nee Polletta) Ricciardi; and brother, Nick Ricciardi.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Mary’s name are suggested to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
