Funeral Mass for Raymond Paul Jacobs, 64, of Mentor, will be 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary of the Assumption Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Mr. Jacobs passed away Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018.
Born Aug. 4, 1953, in McKeesport, Pa., he had been a resident of Lake County for the past 38 years.
Raymond enjoyed cross country skiing in the winter, gardening and swimming, and walks with the dog in the summer.
Mr. Jacobs had been a longtime employee of Lubrizol in Wickliffe.
He was the loving husband of 37 years to Cynthia Ann (nee Cajka) Jacobs; dear brother of Karen J. (Daniel) Moon of Concord Township and James W. (Linda) Jacobs of Trafford, Pa.; brother-in-law of Kathy L. (Regis) Reeping, Alyce L. Cajka and Carolyn S. Cajka; uncle and great-uncle of many.
Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph and Nellie Jane (nee Oliasz) Jacobs.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
