GERALD E. TRAUTMAN, 93, of Mentor, passed away March 6, 2018. Beloved husband of 70 years to Madeline (nee Dudas); loving father of John E. (dec.) (Elaine), and Helen Marie “Buddie” (Michael) Garlisi; cherished grandfather of Marie (Rob) Longo, Thomas (Heather) Trautman, Kimberly (Keith) Egner, and Danyel (Heather) Garlisi; great-grandfather of Nathan, Abigail, Logan, Madeline, Jacob and Addison; son of the late John E. and Helen (nee Jennings); and brother of the late Betty and Ruthie. He also leaves Adele (Dave, dec.) Schikowski and Faye Laskey; nieces and nephews. Mr. Trautman was a U.S. Navy veteran and a most caring man. Family and friends are to meet Saturday, March 10, 2018, in the Chapel at Crown Hill Cemetery, 8592 Darrow Road, Twinsburg at 10:30 a.m. with a service to be held at 11 a.m. Burial will immediately follow the service.
