Carol Calvert
Carol A. (nee Carlini) Calvert, 71, of Painesville, passed away Friday, March 9, 2018, at TriPoint Medical Center in Concord Township.
Born May 25, 1946, in Cleveland, she had been a lifetime Lake County resident.
Carol like crossword puzzles, enjoyed crocheting, and was a loyal fan of the Cleveland Indians.
She was the beloved wife of 31 years to David L. Calvert; loving mother of William E. Zook, Steven E. Zook, and Jeffrey A. (Edie) Carlini; stepmother of Darlene Calvert, Jennifer Calvert, David Calvert, Tim Calvert and Heather Calvert; cherished grandmother of eight; great-grandmother of seven; sister of Robert Carlini; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Tulio and Jewel (nee Nest) Carlini; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert J. and Evelyn (nee Anderson) Calvert; and sister-in-law, Colette "Cookie" Carlini.
Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a celebration of life service at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens in Chester Township.
