Obituary for Hickory L Durfee
Private family services were held for Hickory L. Durfee, 76, of Willoughby.
Mr. Durfee passed away Friday, March 30, 2018, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born March 13, 1942, in Cleveland, he had lived in Cleveland before moving to Lake County 30 years ago.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, camping and sports.
Hickory was the beloved husband of 54 years to Mary Ann (nee Bergant) Durfee; loving father of Donald P. Durfee and Daniel B. Durfee; father-in-law of Donna Durfee; cherished grandfather of Kristen and Tyler; and brother of Sally Kennedy.
He was preceded in death by his son, Dennis A. Durfee; parents, Don and Garnet (nee Phillips) Durfee; siblings, Edwin Durfee and Wanita Ward; and brother-in-law, Dave Kennedy.
Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
