Michael Anthony  Tenkku
Memorial services for Michael Anthony Tenkku, 44, of Mentor, will be 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby.
Mr. Tenkku passed away April 22, 2018, in Cleveland.
Born Feb. 14, 1974, in Willoughby, he had been a lifetime Lake County resident.
Michael loved and cherished his “American Bully” canine companion, Lincoln, and enjoyed fishing, hunting, music, Cleveland sports teams, and was a huge NASCAR fan, especially Dale Earnhardt Jr. He had attended Willoughby South High School and the Willoughby-Eastlake Tech Center for drafting.
Michael was the son of Mark and Pamela Tenkku; beloved father of Anthony Michael Tenkku of Mentor; cherished brother of Angela Suchetka (Christopher Childs) of Chester Township; uncle of Collin Childs; nephew of Debbie and Steve Johnson of Willoughby, Paula and Steve Budzicki of Willoughby and Angela Smith of Mentor; and cousin of many, who loved and enjoyed spending time with. He also leaves Nicole Todd, the mother of his son.
He was preceded in death by his dearest grandparents, Dale and Blanche Smith.
Family will receive friends from 12 noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, May 12, 2018, at The Abbey of Willoughby Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in care of the family.
