Obituary for David Edward Young
Funeral Mass for David Edward Young, 60, of Cleveland, will be 11 a.m. Friday at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. (Family and friends are asked to please meet at church.)
Mr. Young passed away May 1, 2018, at the Cleveland Clinic in Avon.
He was born July 10, 1957, in Buffalo, N.Y.
David was a 1975 graduate of Willoughby South High School, loved baseball and coached baseball in Willoughby Little League.
Mr. Young was a proprietor of Little Caesar’s Pizza Shop in Cleveland.
David was the loving son of Lorraine M. Miller and the late Edwin Young; dear brother of Donna M. (Daniel) McCollister, Robert J. (LaTosha) Young and Linda S. Young; uncle of Brian D. (Savannah) McCollister, Robert V. (Melissa) McCollister, Timothy L. (Teresa) McCollister, Amy (Steve) Torer, Michael Young, Nicole M. Young, Alexander H. Burger and Kassandra P. Burger; and great-uncle of Madeline, McKenna, Irelynn, Willow, Stryker, Elianah, Olivia and Wayland.
Burial will be in Mentor Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in his name may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, OH 44094, or Mother Teresa Foundation at www.motherteresafoundation.org.
Arrangements are entrusted to McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Homes in Willoughby and Mentor.
