Beverly Jean "Jeanie"  Baker
Beverly Jean “Jeanie” (neé Roth) Baker, 83, of Mentor and a lifetime Lake County resident, Jeanie passed away Saturday, May 26, 2018, at David Simpson Hospice House in Cleveland.
She was born May 15, 1935, in Kirtland.
Jeanie was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and taking care of her grandchildren. She loved to travel, read books and do puzzles.
Survivors are her daughter, Diana (Jeffrey) Thompson of Mentor; grandchildren, Amanda (Torok) Slattery, Jason Thompson and Christina Thompson; great-grandson, Brenden Slattery; sisters, Louella Gribbons and Sandra (James) Gessic; as well as many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew Roth and Edith (neé Watkins) Roth; and siblings, John B. Roth, William Roth, Camilla Succi, and June Keipert.
Memorial services will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, May 31, 2018, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. A graveside service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday, June 1, Mentor Municipal Cemetery, 6881 Hopkins Rd., Mentor.
