Virginia R "Ginnie"  (Tittle) Mitzel
Memorial services for Virginia R. “Ginnie” (neé Granger) (Tittle) Mitzel, 93, of Mentor, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018, at St. Hubert’s Episcopal Church, 8870 Baldwin Road, Kirtland Hills. The Rev. Daniel H. Schoonmaker will officiate the service.
Ginnie passed away Oct. 31, 2017, at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born March 14, 1924, in Willoughby, she was a Lake County resident for 60 years. Ginnie had lived in Mentor and then moved to North Carolina after her husband, Bob retired, living there for 15 years. She then moved to Zanesville for 10 years before moving back to Mentor to live out her final years.
She was the loving mother of Kathleen (neé Tittle) (Frank) Brunkala and Barbara (neé Tittle) (Michael) Citraro of Willoughby; cherished grandmother of Timothy (Samantha) Brunkala, Lawrence (Amy) Brunkala, Michael Citraro, Heather (Christopher) Riser, and Nicole (Greg) Jakomin; great-grandmother of Lane and Parker Brunkala, Taylor and Dylan Citraro, Jake and Luke Riser, Carter and Reese Jakomin; and sister-in-law of Joanne Granger.
Ginnie was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert “Bob” Tittle; second husband, Carl Mitzel; parents, Earl and Nell (neé Halloran) Granger; sister, Martha (Jim, dec.) Key; and brother, Phillip Granger.
