Funeral Mass for Miriam Ann (nee Harris) McNickle, 82, of Willoughby, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe.
Mrs. McNickle passed away Monday, June 25, 2018, at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born May 6, 1936, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for 59 years, living in Mentor-on-the-Lake before moving to Willoughby.
Miriam was member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish and St. John Vianney Parish, where she had been a PSR teacher. She was also a member of the Lake Erie Girl Scouts Council, having been a leader for 15 years and been a secretary for the Rose Mary Center.
She was the loving mother of Margaret T. (John) Emrisko, Deborah J. (Timothy) Esson and Judith A. Artino; dear mother-in-law of Anthony Lesso; cherished grandmother of Brian Emrisko, Christopher (April) Emrisko, Heather Emrisko, Aleshia Wisch, Anthony Lesso Jr., Angela (Daniel) Parkhurst, Charity Gardner, Joseph (Kacey) Gardner, Robert Artino and Rachel (Christopher) Gmeiner; great-grandmother of 10; sister of Joan Ratchko; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Miriam was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilbur E. “Mac” McNickle; daughter, Virginia M. Lesso in 2015; parents, Arthur H. and Helen L. (nee Miller) Harris; brother, Arthur Harris; and brother-in-law, Steven Ratchko.
Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
