Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alan Hruska can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

John Ishee

Al was a good friend and colleague. We met at pool league and worked on several jobs together and he was always friendly and would clearly do anything for anybody. We would talk on the phone regularly about whatever job we were doing. He would call me for plumbing advice and I would call him for advice on everything else. His work was stellar and he never stressed over it. He knew his s**t so well that nothing phased him. He'd seen and done it all. And he had no ego about it. He was as happy to learn a neat trick as he was to teach one. I really miss him and I'll never pick up my copper tubing cutter that he recommended to me without remembering him.
