Funeral Mass for Andrew M. Lesso, 80, of Mentor, will be 9 a.m. Saturday, April 22, 2017, at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Road, Mentor.
Mr. Lesso passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017, at Wickliffe Country Place.
He was born May 15, 1936, in Cleveland.
He was a member of the Italian Sons and Daughters of America, the YMCA, where he was very active with the Indian Guides, Willoughby Eagles Aerie 2300, and the Mentor Eagles.
Andrew was the loving father of Christine Miller, Teresia (Christopher) Toreki, Anthony M. Lesso, and Vincent M. Lesso; cherished grandfather of Crystal Miller, Jessica Campbell, Nicholas Miller, Candice Almas, Owen Toreki, Anthony Lesso Jr., and Angela Parkhurst; great-grandfather of Makayla and Lillyanna Rose; brother-in-law of Josephine Lesso; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Cecelia (nee Scavone) Lesso in 2004; daughter-in-law, Virginia Lesso in 2015; son-in-law, Ray Miller; parents, Andrew and Catherine (nee Franks) Lesso; and brother, William Lesso.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
