William  E.  ""Willie""  Randall
Funeral Mass for William E. “Willie” Randall, 77, of Mentor, will be 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Vianney Church, 7575 Bellflower Rd, Mentor. Family and friends are asked to meet at church. Father Tom Johns will officiate.
Willie passed away Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017 at his residence with his family at side.
Born Oct. 31, 1940 in Boston, Mass., he had been a Lake County resident for 56 years, living in Mentor.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, member of St. John Vianney Church and Willoughby Eagles Aeriee 2300. Willie loved the outdoors and working in his yard,was a big sports fan, he loved the Indians, Browns and Cavs.
He retired from Bailey Controls Wickliffe after 39 years, then he drove for LakeTran for 10 years.
Willie was the beloved husband of 53 years to Willa K. (nee Smith) Randall; loving father of Steven E. Randall, Daniel R. (Melissa) Randall and Kevin J. (Kimberly) Randall; cherished grandfather of Corey, Skylar, Ryan, Noah and Luke; great grandfather of Destiny; brother of Jane (John) Gisel; brother-in-law of Irma Randall; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Florence (nee McCarthy) Randall; and brother, George Randall.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be private.
