Obituary for Edward Eric Hodina

Edward Eric Hodina, 56, of Kirtland, passed away Jan. 17, 2018, at The Cleveland Clinic.
Born June 5, 1961, in Cleveland, he had been a lifetime Lake County resident.
Ed enjoyed and was active in Boy Scouts and Eagle Scouts. He was a former Boy Scout, Troop Leader, Scout Master and Assistant Scout in Mentor.
He was the loving father of Stacy L. (Kip) Sterner and Jason E. (Brittany) Hodina; cherished grandfather of Leon, Cole and Charlie; son of Betty (nee Anderson) Hodina; brother of Robert (Patty) Hodina and Bonnie (Marc) Bittner; and uncle of nieces and nephews. Ed also leaves many other loved ones.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Calli; father, Richard “Dick” Hodina in 2004; and brother, Richard Hodina Jr.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a celebration of life at 7:30 p.m. Burial will be private.
