Private services will be held for Donna J. Bowen, 89, of Willoughby.
Mrs. Bowen passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Heartland of Mentor.
She was born March 13, 1928, in Cleveland.
Donna was a former member of the Eastern Star and the Red Hat Society.
She had worked as a teacher’s aide for many years and loved the kids. Mrs. Bowen had also worked into her 80s, at the Surgical Eye Care Center in Mentor.
Donna was the mother of Sandra M. (Jim) Dudash of Mentor and James A. Bowen of Painesville; and grandmother of Jake Dudash.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Bowen; and sons, Robert W. and Terry M. Bowen.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude’s Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
