Obituary for Arthur V Galon

Arthur V. Galon, 95, of Euclid, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
He was born Nov. 18, 1922, in Cleveland.
Arthur was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He loved to play the harmonica and enjoyed polka music.
Mr. Galon had worked at General Electric for 40 years before his retirement.
He was the loving father of Susan (Chris) Farrand and Thomas A. (Ruth) Galon; cherished grandfather of James (Amy) Galon and Mathieu Farrand; great-grandfather of Sebastian, Hawkin, Adriene, Gianna and Matthew; brother of Norman; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Arthur was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Irene M. (nee Bruszkowski) Galon; parents, Frank and Victoria (nee Markowski) Galon; and siblings, Frank, Dolly, Nellie and Vickie.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 12 noon Saturday, Aug. 4, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, with a service to follow at 12 noon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Cleveland.
