Funeral Mass for Josephine “Josie” (nee Staszkowycz) Ferritto, 85, of Parma Heights, (formerly of Willowick), will be 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Immaculate Conception Church, 37940 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Ferritto went home to be with the Lord on July 27, 2018, at Fairview Hospital.
She was born Oct. 20, 1932, in Cleveland.
Josie was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her family meant everything to her. She was a graduate of Lakeland Community College. Her favorite thing to do was make homemade pierogis and everyone loved them.
Josie had worked as a banquet waitress for various downtown Cleveland hotels, was a House Mother at Andrews School and was a realtor in Lake County.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Bill) Miller; sons, James (Cindy) Ferritto and Gregory (Jan) Ferritto; grandchildren, Bill Miller (Robin Amador), Melissa (Bob) Prebe, Tom (Christina) Miller, Kristy (Ryan) Dodig, Jackie Serrani (Dan Zavarella) and Megan Ferritto. She also dearly loved being the great-grandmother of Yana, Annika, Emma, Hannah Sha, A.J. William Miller, Isabelle, Griffin, Jepson, Nicholas Prebe, Madeline and Colette Miller, Sawyer Dodig, Danny and Dean Zavarella.

Josie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albert J. Ferritto in 1973; parents, Joseph and Pearl (nee Periak) Staszkowycz; sister, Julia Staszkowycz; and brother, John Staszkowycz.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
