The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Esta Young can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

I've known June for so long, it seems like I've always been part of the family. Yes, she had a contagious laugh that I can hear now while I'm writing about her. A long time ago, when I worked near to Jerry & Sherry's house, sometimes I would stop by for lunch. One time Sherry was out & June was watching Jared. He was eating lunch in the highchair (a long time ago) in the living room, so June could watch her soaps. We never told Sherry. People didn't eat in the living room. June tried to tell me who everyone was, but no one has that kind of time. I camped with the family many times, & June was usually there. She loved camping & taking walks in the woods. One time John asked her how to skin a rabbit. June's answer was immediate! Some gasped...but most of us laughed. That same camping trip she came back from a walk & told the guys that she knocked down a bunch of dead trees on her walk & the guys had to go get them for firewood. "How do you knock down dead trees!?!" "You just keep pushing against the trunk until is falls over." just that matter-of-fact. I've enjoyed our visits in the last few years, & I know that the last few have been hard for you. I know that you are at peace now. I will always miss you on my visits to Ohio. Love, Patti
