Obituary for Cynthia Alice "Cyndi" Zappia

Cynthia “Cyndi” Alice (nee Bican) Zappia, 72, of Middlefield, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2018, at Hospice of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
She was born Sept 8, 1945, in Chardon, to late Alice and Donald Bican.
Cyndi was the devoted wife of late William Zappia.
She was the beloved mother of Kim Giel and Dean Zappia; cherished grandmother of Samantha Hargis, Cooper Zappia and Dalton Zappia; dear sister of Sarah Jo Bican and Myra Jean Atchison; and a true joy to so many friends, old and new. Her beautiful smile and her love of adventure will be missed by so many.
Family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at The Abbey of Willoughby, 38011 Euclid Ave. (located on the grounds of McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home), in Willoughby, with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be private.
