Funeral services for Theresa J. “Rosie” (nee Miller) Kovacic, 92, of Thompson, will be 10 a.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor.
Mrs. Kovacic passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2018, at Geauga Assisted Living in Montville.
Born Oct. 8, 1925, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Thompson since 1974.
She enjoyed sewing and was an excellent seamstress.
She was the loving mother of William “Cookie” Kovacic Jr., Andrea Medvec, Michael W. Kovacic, Anthony (Caroline) Kovacic and Timothy (Ellie) Kovacic; cherished grandmother of Andrea (Alan) McKinstry, Steve “Nick” (Jessica) Medvec, Kaylee Kovacic, Anthony “A.J.” Kovacic and Samantha Kovacic; great-grandmother of Steve, Natalie, Daryann, Sydne, Kolt and Isabell; sister of Caroline Baker and Joseph Miller; and aunt of nieces and nephews.
Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Cookie” Kovacic; son-in-law, Nick Medvec; parents, John and Mary (nee Komocar) Miller; and siblings, Roberta Fisher, Dorothy Kekic, Josephine Reeves, John Miller, Ann Abranovich, Catherine Ostrunik and baby Willy.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery in Thompson.
