Obituary for Edward P "Pat" Brennan

Funeral Mass for Edward P. “Pat” Brennan, 86, of Wickliffe, will be 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 29850 Euclid Ave., Wickliffe. Mr. Brennan’s nephew, Fr. Jim Stenger will officiate the Mass.
Pat passed away Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at Hospice House of the Western Reserve in Cleveland.
Born Jan. 5, 1932, in Cleveland, he had been a resident of Lake County for 59 years.
He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Wickliffe, and the Irish American Club East Side Inc., where he was an active member and served on the Float Committee. Pat was also a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War, and a volunteer at Hospice of the Western Reserve and Meals-on-Wheels.
He was the loving father of Anne M. (Ted) Olszewski; cherished grandfather of Jennifer O. (Michael) Hawe, Elizabeth A. (Alex) Hunt, Michelle L. (Matt) Magner and Mark J. Olszewski (April Smith); great-grandfather of Emily, Amelia, Daniel, Owen and Gabrielle; and uncle of nieces and nephews.
Pat was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Margaret T. “Peg” Brennan in 2012; parents, Edward and Anna (nee Carty) Brennan; and siblings, Cyril Brennan, Mary Jo (Ernest, dec.) Fagin and Dennis Brennan.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
