To the family and friends of Michael Garlisi, I am deeply sorry for your lost. During such grieving times, having support and comfort are immeasurable. 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 says that God is the Father of tender mercies and comfort, who comforts us in all our trials. How comforting it is to know you can turn to God for help!

My sincerest condolences to Mr. Garlisi's family. I remember him fondly from when he was involved with my elementary school in the 1970's. He was the first police officer that I knew as a kid and always made the Willoughby kids feel like we had a friend in him - even when we became teenagers and weren't so worthy of his kindness! He was a wonderful asset to the Willoughby community and will be missed.

My heart aches for you Buddie, Danny and family. You have suffered so many losses this year. I didn't know Mike well, but what I did know, was that you loved him with all of your heart. He sounds like he was a terrific husband, father, grandpa and friend. He continued to support and serve his community even after he retired from the police force. I'm sorry that I didn't get to know him better.
