Barbara Steffy, 81, of Mentor, passed away Nov. 27, 2018, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Feb. 19, 1937, in Cleveland, she had been a resident of Lake County for more than 40 years.
Barbara was active at the Mentor Senior Center, loved the outdoors, camping and working around the house.
She was the beloved wife of 54 years to George Steffy; loving mother of Patricia (Andy) Gerngross of Los Angeles, Calif.; and sister of Robert and John Harold.
Barbara was preceded in death by parents, Carl and Margaret (nee Watt) Harold; and brother, Carl Harold.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2018, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, where a service will be conducted at 7:30 p.m. Monday. Pastor Michael Currier will officiate. Burial will be private.
