Obituary for Eli Russell LaGrew
Eli Russell LaGrew, 72, of Willoughby, passed away Saturday, Dec. 29, 2018, at Lake Health West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born Nov. 11, 1946, in Red Cliff Reservation, Wisc.
Eli was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed fishing and hunting in his early years.
He was the beloved husband of Cindy S. (nee Gardner) LaGrew; loving father of Charles W. LaGrew, Eli J. LaGrew, Stephanie M. LaGrew and Julie R. LaGrew; cherished grandfather of Hannah, Sarah, Charlie, Hunter, Brayden, Jude, Landon, Audrey and Clara; brother of Chuck Mitchell, Virginia Thompson, Saundra LaGrew, Linda Balber, Steve LaGrew, Tim LaGrew and David LaGrew.
Eli was preceded in death by his parents, Eli R. and Madeline (nee Mitchell) LaGrew; and siblings, Jim LaGrew and Julie LaGrew.
Family will receive friends from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 38001 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, with a celebration of life to be held at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
