Obituary for Corey M "Big C" Ryan
Corey M. “Big C” Ryan, 28, of Mentor, passed away Monday, Jan. 14, 2019, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Born June 21, 1990, in Painesville, he had been a lifetime resident of Lake County.
Corey was a 2008 graduate of Mentor High School, was a rapper known as “Big C,” loved music, and loved his nieces and nephews.
He was the beloved son of Sean M. (Patsy) Ryan and Theresa A. (nee Jacobson) Ryan (Lisa Reed); brother of Chris B. (Laura) Zukoski and Cody P. (Tia) Ryan; uncle of Xavier, Nixie, Catlynn, J.J., Quinn and Adalyn; fianceé of Janine Koprivnik; paternal grandson of Bil (Patricia) Renshaw; and maternal grandson of Dennis (Rose) Marko.
Corey was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Dorothy (Ron) Jacobson.
Family will receive friends from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday, January 26, at McMahon-Coyne-Vitantonio Funeral Home, 6330 Center St. (Route 615, north of Route 2), Mentor, where a Celebration of Life will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, January 26. Burial will be private.
The family suggests contributions in his name be made to the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Ave., Cleveland, OH 44106.
